Flash Docket is a program that takes PAIR XML data and automatically inserts actions and due dates in IP Master accordingly & sends PDF’s to the responsible attorney/client simultaneously. Now lets walk through the process for full understanding.
XML Data Example of XML data. This coding corresponds with data taken from documents.
When you click on the “Upload XML Files” tab, XML data is uploaded into the Flashdocket program. Flashdocket will instruct you to move on to the next step by turning this tab green. This is a safe guard which prevents any steps from being omitted.
Once Flashdocket has uploaded and validated the XML data in IP Master, the next step is to create actions in IP Master and also auto-update and generate dates. A copy of all correspondence is saved into an excel spreadsheet and archived for review. Once Flashdocket has successfully created and updated actions in IP Master, a PDF copy of the correspondence will be sent to the responsible attorney and/or client directly.
The final step is to send any correspondence that did not get validated by our Docket system (IP Master) to the Investigation queue for review.
Advantages • Items that could a few days to process can now be processed into IP Master within one hour every morning. • Saves many hours of time and resources creating extremely efficient workflows. • Automated docketing is consistent and reduces manual errors. • Clients who access our Web Access Module or SharePoint sites will view real-time accurate data. • Attorneys can have PDF copies of docketed items automatically sent to them. • In the future, we are exploring for Flashdocket to communicate PDF’s seamlessly through client SharePoint sites.
