Paul’s Second Missionary Journey Acts 15:36-18:22
1 Corinthians 1:21-24 21Since God in his wisdom saw to it that the world would never know him through human wisdom, he has used our foolish preaching to save those who believe. 22It is foolish to the Jews, who ask for signs from heaven. And it is foolish to the Greeks, who seek human wisdom. 23 So when we preach that Christ was crucified, the Jews are offended and the Gentiles say it’s all nonsense. 24 But to those called by God to salvation, both Jews and Gentiles, Christ is the power of God and the wisdom of God.
1 Thessalonians 5:20-21 20Do not scoff at prophecies, 21 but test everything that is said. Hold on to what is good.
Psalm 119:11 "I have hidden your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you."
Galatians 4:17-18 17 Those people are zealous to win you over, but for no good. What they want is to alienate you from us, so that you may have zeal for them.18 It is fine to be zealous, provided the purpose is good, and to be so always, not just when I am with you.
