Important people to know Your mentor/advisor! Every student is assigned a mentor/advisor, and he or she is a lecturer at LSCT To find out who your mentor/advisor is: • Check NPAL • Check with General Office
Mentor/ Advisor • first line of enquiry for everything • admin matters, health and personal issues • outing with mentor
How to find/contact my mentor? Check the timetable files outside Staff offices at Levels 4-6 Use internal phone outside staff offices Pigeon holes for dropping messages Or….

How to get your timetable Go to Ngee Ann Home Page www.np.edu.sg and click on “Student Login” (accessible from home)
Click on NPal Student You will see this Your login ID is your student number (with ‘S’ at the front, but without the alphabet behind e.g. S12345678 ) Your password should have been sent to you

7 THINGS TO PREPARE FOR THE 1st WEEK OF SCHOOL • Writing materials (lectures for most course will start in the first week) • 2. Student card (to register attendance for lectures – do ask your lecturer how to do this at your first lecture) • 3. Money • 4. Laptop (excluding HLM students)
7 THINGS TO PREPARE FOR THE 1st WEEK OF SCHOOL 5. Sweater (if you find lecture theatres or labs too cold) 6. Labcoat, safety glasses and covered shoes (for practicals otherwise you will not be allowed into the labs) 7. Sports attire (for Sports and Wellness)
What if I fall ill and cannot attend classes? • If you have a medical certificate, • 1. When you return to school, obtain a pink form from the general office (Blk 83, level 4) • Attach your MC, fill in the details, and get the relevant lecturers and your mentor to sign at relevant places • Hand over to your mentor or hand it to the General Office Staff
