  2. Highlights for January 27, 2007 • Backfill • Contractor continued backfilling large scour hole and near PVPL concrete pad • Backfilling activities approximately 75% complete • Weather • Light rain most of day

  3. Highlights for January 27, 2007 • Backfill (cont.) • Compaction test taken at 0600HR for lift approx 2’ below invert grade • Avg. % compaction: 93.1% • Avg. % moisture: 9.9% • Weather (cont.) • Backfill and compaction operations halted @ 2000HR due to inclement weather

  4. Highlights for January 27, 2007 • Liner Repairs • Sealing cracks with Sikaflex and grout postponed due to weather conditions • Liner repairs approximately 20% complete • Panel sections cut out and compacted • Concrete saw cutting activities completed

  5. Highlights for January 27, 2007 • Backfill delivered • Borrow material transported from Tehachapi • 62 truckloads delivered for a total of 1054 tons • Stockpile in staging area and covered

  6. Highlights for January 27, 2007 • Hungry Valley Siphon Clearing • Conveyor belt mobilized and staged
