New documents for HC Test Procedure for warm magnet circuits • Test procedures • Concern all tests which have to be done during the hardware commissioning from the IST to the powering of the SC circuits up to nominal current • Description of the tests • Condition to start and during the tests • Status of the equipments after the tests • Risk analysis and safety compensatory measures • Co-activities • General safety procedures • Concern the general safety aspects of the HC • Access conditions vs status of the sector (Pressure test, flushing, Cooldown, ElQA) • Access to the sector during the powering tests

  6. Where to apply the HC procedures? HCC procedures + CERN regulation • The HC procedures are applicable only: • In the areas under the responsibility of the HCC • During the HC periods • Safety CERN regulation is also mandatory Powering Tests are ongoing between 10 oct 2007 and 15 nov 2007 CERN regulation

  7. Hardware commissioning tests • Condition to start the tests • The campaigns are announced • The tests areas are delimited • The tests are planned every day during the HCC meeting • The tests are realized only by trained teams (official list)
