Introduction: Burial traditions • Burial traditions in ancient Egypt varied depending on the time in history. The most popularly known traditions involve mummification. Other traditions included burial chambers, tombs, and even burial pots. Women and men were buried with different objects. A person’s status in the civilization also held a great significance as to the type of burial.
