  1. CSS Circular SmokeShield

  2. SmokeShield PTC 601 Is a square damper with circular end caps Simplistically, the CSS is the alternative to the 601 damper. More cost effective. Easier to install. ONLYAvailable with factory-fitted actuator. SS601 or CSS?

  3. Single pivoting blade with low leakage seal. • Simple drive linkage (similar to the PTC interface internals). • Diameters to suit std duct sizes from 100 to 355mm diameter • Suitable for both standard and insulated ductwork • Complete with Installation flanges. • Stocked item. (just need to fit appropriate actuator) Features

  4. ES rating Achieved by special patented seal Blade (pivot blade and back blade) Seal Silicon impregnated woven glass Intumescent strip (expands in fire)

  5. ‘Compact’ actuator drives all sizes. • Factory fitted option only. • 3 position fixing (std=in line with duct) • Spring return only (at the moment!) • M5 or M6 (24V or 230V) • With or without ETR • ‘Vent’ version available……. (obtained by ‘flipping’ actuator over). Modes

  6. Fire Tested to: • EN1366-2Acheived ES rating for 120 minutes • Leakage tested to EN1366-2 • Smallest damper = S rating • Vertical test only at the moment • DW144 casing leakage class C Performance

  7. Cut sq hole in wall 10mm bigger than diameter. Remove flanges from damper Position damper in wall. Note wall CL = damper blade pos’n (positioning label). Fill voids with rockwool Fix flanges either side of wall. Tighten to damper with clamp screw. Screw flanges to wall (pre-punched holes) Simple to install
