  3. Predators • Jaguars, big birds, wild cats, humans. • These animals control the population.

  4. Prey and Food • Prey: lizards, insects, and birds. • Food: Fruit, insects, lizards, and birds. • Toucans eat these because of their large beak.

  5. Adaptions • They have large beaks to eat. • Strong legs to hop to branches. • Colorful feathers to hide from predators.

  6. Fun Fact • When toucans sleep they tuck their bills into their wings.

  7. Fun Fact • Toucans are the noisiest birds in the jungle.
