  2. Getting started • The card that you use: The new student ez-link card (secondary) with Singapore Standard for Contactless ePurse Applications (CEPAS)

  3. For those who have changed to a new ez-link card Register again at Location: High school reception Opening hours: 8am to 11.30am 1.30pm to 4.30pm This will take approximately 10 min to complete. Alternatively, you can leave your • Name • Class • Handphone Number We will contact you . .

  4. How to tap successfully? • Ensure that the card reader show green light with the word “Access Ok” after you have tapped it. • DO NOT tap with the ez-link card in your wallet. Reason: The reader may not be able to detect your card due to the thickness of your wallet.

  7. Bio Metric Attendance System Location: High School Reception office. Use only If • The reader failed to capture your attendance. • Forget to bring your ez-link card • Lost ez-link card Pease come to the High School Reception office to scan your finger print by 7.20am

  8. Which finger to use to scan your attendance ? You are required to use either your left or right index finger to scan your attendance.

  11. Rules and Regulation The following reasons are not acceptable for failure to mark your attendance using the EZ-Link scanner or Biometric device: • Forget to tap the ez-link card • Left the ez-link card at home • Parents took my ez-link card e.g for topping up • Cannot find ez-link card

  12. Rules and Regulation Please note that your attendance will be mark : • Present – If you tap before 7.20am • Late – If you tap after 7.20 am and before 8 am(1 Demerit point will be given for each time you are late for school) • No record– If you tap after 8 am (you are considered absent without reason / playing truant if you do not clarify within a week – warning email issued).

  13. Clarify your attendance If you did not mark your attendance by 8am, • Your attendance will reflect ‘No Record” • an email will be sent to your school email account.

  14. On medical leave – submit MC to Ms Lin WL Out-of School (Official) – Inform Ms Lin WL Competition Attachment Exempted (Official) Leave of Absence– Submitletter to Ms Lin WL If you are absent with valid reasons

  15. If you are absent without valid reasons • Considered as TRUANCY. • Disciplinary action will be taken against you.

  16. Discrepancies If there are discrepancies in your attendance, you can clarify with • Miss Lin WL or • Mr Sung Kah Kee

  17. Appeal System Please login to ISP to check you attendance. If your attendance been marked as absent you will need to clarify your attendance by clicking : • Medical leave button if you are sick • Appeal button to state your valid reason

  19. Medical Certificate submission • Please submit your medical certificate to high school admin office within 2 days by dropping at the ballot box
