  1. This year, the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE)instructed AC manufacturers to retain their equipment's default temperature at24°C. The default temperature before the legislation was20 degrees. According to studies, every degree we raise thetemperature saves roughly 6% of electricity. And the lower you set yourtemperature, the longer your air conditioner's compressors run, increasingyourelectricitybill. 1. SET THE RIGHT DEFAULTTEMPERATURE
