DFS データの移行 • 移行対象データ • Home, group disk のデータを移行する。 • /dfs/work/[pswg, ps_e246, ps_klea, ishikawa*] は移行しない。 • データの移行は、センター側で行なう。 • DFS server --- login server --- 新NFS server • Check sum での確認を行なう。新NFS serverに移行したデータのバックアップを取る。 • 新システム上の移行データはhome でない領域に置く • スケジュール • 2005/12/20? から開始 Shigeo.Yashiro@kek.jp

  3. Login serverの借用 • DFS データ移行のために 14台中 7台を借用 • 予定期間 : 2005/12/20 - 2006/1/18 • 対象ホスト • central 3台のうち1台をデータ移行と共用、1台をデータ移行専用とする。 • ps 3台中1台をデータ移行専用とする。 • accelerator, jlc, atlas, nml, 2台中1台をデータ移行と共用する。 • 設定変更 • DFS cache をメモリに変更(12/9予定) Shigeo.Yashiro@kek.jp

  4. HPSS • 新システムでもHPSSを使用する。 • 現行システムの磁気テープデータを使用できる。 • 従って、データ移行は行なわない。メタデータ（HPSSファイルの管理情報）の移行のみ。 Shigeo.Yashiro@kek.jp

  5. HPSS /新システムでの運用 • 旧テープ 120TB 3000本(40GB/vol), 新テープ 200TB 667本(300GB/vol) • 旧テープは read onlyとする。作成・更新は新テープ • User host からの access interface • api, pftp, (hsi), (nfs) • e391a は固有のCOS • その他はファイルサイズで COS を変える。グループごとに COS を変えない。 Shigeo.Yashiro@kek.jp

  6. HPSSの移行 • 運用スケジュール • 2006/1/3-1/5 運用停止 • DFS解除、全データを磁気テープに移動、メタデータの移行 • 2006/1/6-1/9 運用停止 • 全テープの ReadOnly 設定 • 2006/1/10-1/15 運用 • DFS不可、ReadOnly で使用 • 2006/1/16 運用停止 • 磁気テープライブラリの新システムへの接続換え、動作確認 • 2006/1/17-1/18 運用 • 磁気ディスクにステージ済みのデータを利用可 • 2006/1/19-1/24 現行システムの撤去 Shigeo.Yashiro@kek.jp

  7. アカウント管理の方針 • ワークグループ、サブグループ、ユーザというユーザ管理の階層構造は継続する。 • ワークグループ • ps, ilc, atlas, nml, accelerator, center, theory, • NPISグループについては未検討。 • KEKCCのユーザを自動的に PostKEK のユーザとしない。(運用変更) • ワークサーバ、 計算サーバ、HPSSは同一パスワード。 • Access server、 CIFSアクセス、メイルシステム、Webシステムは別パスワード Shigeo.Yashiro@kek.jp

  8. アカウント管理の方針 (2) • Access serverのアカウントを申請ベースとするか？ • セキュリティの観点から • 別パスワード • 必要なユーザに絞る • Windowsからのファイルアクセス（CIFS)を申請ベースとするか？ Shigeo.Yashiro@kek.jp

  9. アカウントの移行 • 原則として、現行システムのアカウントを移行させる。ワークグループ管理者の確認作業のみ行なう。 • パスワードは再設定となる。 Shigeo.Yashiro@kek.jp
