  2. Once upon a time… There was a small girl named Mary. But everyone called her Magdalene because she lived in the most beautiful town of Magdala on the shore of the sea of Galilee.

  3. As Magdalene grew up she did many things that were not pleasing to God.

  4. Magdalene was very sick for a while and then she prayed to God for help. Thankfully, God heard her plea for help. Magdalene was so grateful that she dedicated the rest of her life to God.

  5. As Magdalene grew older she took more and more opportunities to go listen to Jesus’ teachings and parables. She soon became one of his most devoted disciples of her time.
