  2. What it’s like in Little Italy… • Little Italy is mostly restaurants. • Even though the majority is food and different places to eat. The really cool thing about Little Italy is the atmosphere.

  4. About Little Italy • Location: Southern part of Manhattan New York. • Every September Little Italy host the famous two week long party known as San Genarro. • Staten Island’s Italian population of origin reaches 44%. • The streets are cobblestoned.

San Gennaro • During this festival two parades take place. • The parades start on Mulberry Street and end on Canal Street. • During the parades the statue of San Gennaro is taken from its place Most Precious Blood Church and carried around the parade. • After the parades and all the celebrating has taken place they take a break for The Official Feast Day. This includes a mass in honor of San Gennaro, and a Religious Procession.
