  5. Title? How can you make it attractive? It must convey a message (6th graders about coming to Bach) The text must appeal to the mind and the feelings. What strategies will you use to convince the 6th graders to come to Bach?

  7. Sell Bach to them! • BOLD opening • Use mainly the present tense • Write in the second person - address your audience directly • Language that appeals to emotions, emotive words • Generalisation • Exaggeration • evidence • Repetition of words or ideas • Give commands
