Of what, what does made our people? The Cuban artist Alexis Torres believes that people, or rather, their collective image, woven from elements of nature, which can be found everywhere: from feathers, leaves, spider webs, flowers and grass. Therefore, it is an amazing picture, in which he captures the world as he sees, look like they really are made of very thin fibers.
Very original way to show the public their attitude to the problems of ecology and the appeal to protect the environment, but nevertheless, the artist believes that his paintings are filled with precisely this meaning. And, indeed, beautiful portraits of pensive young women, whose faces are hidden under the carnival masks, reminiscent of the mythical image of dryads who guarded nature, protected forests, meadows, parks and squares.
Early works by the artist, who also performed in an unusual technique, inspired not so much the nature of how political and social processes, as well as bright and strong personalities from the world of science, art and show business.
