  2. 1450 Johannes Gutenberg • Johann Guttenberg invents a printing press using movable metal type • Johannes Gutenberg, a goldsmith and businessman from the mining town of Mainz in southern Germany, borrowed money to do technology that changed the world • Johannes Gutenberg invented the printing press with moveable wooden or metal letters in 1436 { completed in 1440} • This method of printing is a revolution for books, but also a revolution for arts and religion through texts….

  4. 1894 • The first long distance phone call • The call was between Boston and New York City. • The telephone has a lot history • It was one of the biggest part of communication

  5. 1901 • Gugliermo Marconi sends the first radio signal across the Atlantic Ocean. • His system was accepted in Britain and Italian navies • and pretty soon it was established for public use.

  6. 1928 • Very first few homes get television sets to watch broadcast programs • They sold several thousands of these first little and bulky T.V. • Aired programs 5 nights a week

  7. 1963 • First communications satellite is launched, allowing worldwide live broadcast of the 1964 Olympics • Satellite was successfully carried out in November 23, 1963
