  1. HISTORY OF CHICKEN FRIED STEAK Hollie’s Flatiron Grill

  2. Hollie’s Flatiron Grill Most of the historian agrees that German and Austrian who settled in Texas introduced the meal in the 19th century. Some of the historians think it is originated from South American dish Milanesa. Chicken fried steak is similar to the Austrian recipe called Wiener Schnitzel, which is made from veal or pork that is dipped in eggs and bread crumbs and then pan fried.

  3. Hollie’s Flatiron Grill In the 1900s chicken, fried steak took place in the American recipe-book. Some of the restaurants provide cream gravy with steak which is now served in almost everywhere. There are some restaurants in Texas who claim the origin of the chicken fried steak, but there is no such proof.

  4. Hollie’s Flatiron Grill Chicken fried steak is very similar to frying chicken. The round steak, pork or chicken is coated in flour then dipped in eggs, tossed in flour again and placed in the deep fryer. Now, this is so popular that this meal is served from diners to five- star restaurants and prepared in several ways.

  5. Hollie’s Flatiron Grill If chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes with gravy and fried okra are cooked very well then it tastes incredible.

  6. Hollie’s Flatiron Grill You can enjoy chicken fried steak throughout the USA. In 1988 Oklahoma announce that the chicken fried steak is the official meal of the state. Hollie’s Flatiron Grill will serve you warm fried meat under thick gravy and buttery mashed potatoes which you can not quite like it.
