  1. Bell Work #9 • 4-1-14: What projects are you doing for The Great Gatsby? What questions do you have about the projects? • Work on projects – we will have computer time on Friday – so the Due dates are April 7th and 8th. • Turn in Bell Work from last week and/or study guide, if you have not already.

  2. Bell Work #9 • 4-2-14: If you were Nick, would you have told Tom the truth after the fact when Nick saw Tom in October? Why or why not? • Work on projects.

  3. Bell Work #9 • 4-3-14: If you could remake a movie or make a movie that was a book, what would it be and why? • Watch a video about the making of The Great Gatsby. • We will be meeting in room 529 tomorrow.

  4. Bell Work #9 continued • 4-7-14: Free Write Monday – What’s going on? • Prepare projects for presentations. • Turn in Gatsby books if you are finished.

  5. Bell Work #9 • 4-8-14: In what way did the movie improve or add to the novel? • Continue presentations • Watch the movie if we have time. • Grade improvement plan. If you have a D or and F, please come in during lunch this Friday or after school on Monday. I will have work for you to do to help bring your grade up.

Bell Work #9 • 4-10-14: If you could make one change to the novel what would it be and why? • Turn in projects • Finish movie • Take Benchmark test if you were absent yesterday. • Grade improvement plan. If you have a D or and F, please come in during lunch this Friday or after school on Monday. I will have work for you to do to help bring your grade up.

  7. Bell Work #9 • 4-11-14: Read the passage from “Eating Catsup from a Bottle” and list her childhood memories regarding food. • Turn in Bell Work – a total of 7 entries. • Go over essays. • Finish Movie • Grade improvement plan. If you have a D or and F, please come in during lunch this Friday or after school on Monday. I will have work for you to do to help bring your grade up.
