Ilias Atwani is a well-experienced mining industry professional who is presently working in the mine operations department of a senior Canadian gold mining company as a Mine Operations Coordinator. Ilias Atwani started his career in 2008 as an intern in the Mining Engineering department of a reputed company in Meknes, Morocco. Later, he got the opportunity to work for a British-Swiss multinational commodity trading and mining company. He worked in the company's Mining Engineering Department as an intern for almost six years, handling a wide range of responsibilities.

Ilias Atwani’s Vast Experience in the Mining Industry Speaks Volumes about His Expertise Ilias Atwani is a well-experienced mining industry professional who is presently working in the mine operations department of a senior Canadian gold mining company as a Mine Operations Coordinator. His areas of expertise include - Analysis/Modeling: Surpac®, Whittle®, Talpac®; Programming: Matlab®, C/C++, VB; Management and Logistics: SAP®, JD Edwards®; and CAD Software such as AutoCAD® (Amine & Promine), SolidWorks®, Silverscreen® (CAMP), 3D Reshaper®. Mining Oriented Operational Ilias Atwani started his career in 2008 and as an intern in the Mining Engineering department of a reputed company in Meknes, Morocco. While interning with this company for around three months, he assisted operators underground in their daily activities and handled the equipment used underground under the supervision of experienced foremen and operators. Later, he got the opportunity to work for a British-Swiss multinational commodity trading and mining company. He worked in the company’s Mining Engineering Department as an intern for almost six years, handling a wide range of responsibilities, such as -  Establishing weekly schedules & planning  Handling Volumetric reconciliation & adjustment of excavated and blasted roc quantities  Taking care of the issuance of drilling, loading and blasting plans

  2.  Handling 3D design & Survey data processing (Trimble Business Center, AutoCAD, 3DReshaper)  Showing Involvement & effective contribution in the Tailing storage management  Effectively monitoring the ore/waste quantities & monitoring plans issuance Talking about Ilias Atwani’s academic background, he is a proud alumnus of the Laval University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mining Engineering (2012). Before he enrolled in this course, he attended Institut Polytechnique privé de Casablanca from Sep 2006 to Dec 2008 for his preparatory classes for engineering school. Taking his education further, Atwani is currently enrolled in an Executive Master of Business Administration program in the Laval University.
