An Introduction to IliasAtwani • One of the most experienced Mining Engineers in Canada, IliasAtwaniis currently working for a leading firm in the gold mining business. • Ilias has previously worked for a British-Swiss multinational commodity trading and mining company for more than 6 years in a variety of roles. • He has received his degree in Mining and Mineral Engineering from Laval University and is currently enrolled here in an executive MBA program.

Roles and Responsibilities Ilias can Efficiently handle While he was working for the British-Swiss commodity trading company, IliasAtwani was required to handle the following job roles: • Establishment of weekly schedules & planning • Volumetric reconciliation & adjustment of excavated and blasted roc quantities • Issuance of drilling, loading and blasting plans • 3D design and Survey data processing (Trimble Business Center, AutoCAD, 3DReshaper) • Involvement and effective contribution in the Tailing storage management • Monitoring the ore/waste quantities & monitoring plans issuance

IliasAtwani’s Extensive Skill-Set IliasAtwaniis exceptionally good at working with several tools and technologies including but not limited to • Mining Oriented Operational Analysis/Modeling: Surpac®, Whittle®, Talpac • Programming: Matlab®, C/C++, VB • Management and Logistics: SAP®, JD Edwards® • Microsoft Office ® Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio…) • CAD Software: AutoCAD® (Amine and Promine), SolidWorks®, Silverscreen® (CAMP), 3DReshaper®

Some More Information about Ilias • Ilias holds an additional bachelor’s degree in Mathematical Sciences from the Prince Mly Abdallah High School – Casablanca. • He had started his professional as an intern in the Mining Engineering department of a reputed company in Meknes, Morocco. • Here, he used to assist operators underground in their daily activities and also got to learn a lot about underground supervising.
