Demographics • The demographics that we am aiming at here would be for people who are into the sea adventure, who like action taking place on open water and have a sense of humour. The age range would be for everyone from 12 years to 60 years old once they have a general interest in the films.
Market Potential • There is a great market potential in Dundalk for these type of films. There is a large amount of ships come in to Dundalk port, there is always a great interest in sailing ships when they arrive here whether it is in the port or out in Carlingford. There is a great interest in the local community about water based activities as well.
Audience Development • A way to develop the audience in the area would be to offer incentives to people who might have a small interest in the films by doing a 2 for 1 deal where you can either have • 1) two people admitted for the price of one or • 2) gain admittance to two separate films for the price of one. Another way to help develop audience attendance to these films would be to offer a package that would include the film and a trip to the adventure centre w/ the travel included for both adults and children of all ages (have a special family package as well as individual prices), this way rather than just paying into watch a film, they have the choice of making it an all day trip out for the entire family.
Nothing but Comedy FilmsBlazing SaddlesNaked GunMonty PythonThe Pink PantherCaddyshackClockwiseClerksHot FuzzComing to AmericaShaun of the DeadThe Blues BrothersYoung Frankenstein
Demographics • The demographics that we would aim this type at would be for the older audience. Id mainly be going for an 16+ audience, the main reason that we would go for this type is that the films we would be interested in showing to these audiences would be an older comedy ie: Mel Brooks films, Charley Chaplin films, and some new like Simon Pegg’s films
Market Potential • There is a great market potential for this type in Dundalk. The comedy scene is very much alive in Dundalk, with places such as The Fairways, Spirit Store etc… who put on comedy gigs and they are always selling out, so a great way to help this is to have a comedy film festival in Dundalk where people can come in and watch comedy films, whether its from one the 1930's or one from present day.
Audience Development. • A way that we would help develop the audience for the comedy films is by using social media ie: Twitter, Facebook etc.. • One main reason is that it is a great way to attract new audiences as there is more people using Facebook and twitter these days than there is reading newspapers. we would run competitions for new fans of the cinema on these sites where the person who gets the most people to like and share the page in a week would win free entry to any film they wanted for 2 days, this way more and more people would see what we are showing and we would reach a bigger audience. • We would also look into the local comedy festivals and try and run the films along the same time as the comedy shows are on with a special discount for people who attended a comedy show (they have to show their ticket stubs) will get a discount to the films and if they bring a friend along with them who wasn't at the show they will also get a discount that way more and more people will start to come along to watch the films.

Demographics • Forthe demographic for Irish Lifestyle we would look at everyone from a young age all the way to someone who is 80 years old. This would be suited for anyone from male to female and for tourists as well. This would be a great way of adding to the experience of Ireland for tourists.
Market Potential. • There is a great market potential for this genre in Dundalk. There is always something on in Dundalk with restaurants and other places offering deals on memorable. The way we would help out with the market development for this genre would be to advertise it local in papers, posters and flyers. We would use local tourist shops as well and local places of interest to help promote the idea of our cinema and to advertise the films that we are showing. Through this an audience will be built, if not with the younger generation, maybe more so with an older group of people
Audience Development. • We would get in contact with the college and would use them to help promote the idea. We would offer them a chance to show what they considered the best local made films are in the cinema thus getting more people in as they will all want to be able to say that their film is on screen and it would hopefully attract new people into watching Irish made films.
Demographics. • This would be aimed at anyone who has an intrest in Comic Books and the films that were made from them. There is no age limit on this as its for all fans of comic book heroes and action heroes.
Market Development. • There is great room for market development in this area. Around Dundalk there is a lot of comic book fans who find themselves having to travel to watch comic films. We would dedicate certain days a week to just showing comic books films, and when Comic Con is on we would run the films in the cinema so that local people could come to the cinema and watch the films and feel like they are part of the whole experience without having to leave the country. We would offer discount (30% off) to anyone who came dressed up in a costume from the film that we are showing that day.
Audience Development • We would help develop the audience for this by heavily advertising it through local media, posters around town and through social media. We would also post it on Comic Book forums and get local people to help share it with their friends who in turn might take an interest in what is shown that day and with the added discount for dressing up it might encourage people to do it and have a bit of a laugh whilst also enjoying the film and a new idea that has attracted people into watching films that they might not have looked at before.
