  3. Second contract amendment • Undertaken following the first project review and the recommendations from the reviewers • Several changes to annex 1 of the contract and to the core contract Second contract amendment, Collaboration Board, 20th April 2005

  4. Changes affecting the Consortium • Change in reporting period: • Originally P1: 9 months, P2: 9 months, P3: 6 months • P2 and P3 have been merged into one reporting period • No periodic reporting at PM18 • The official review planned at PM18 (MNA1.2) is replaced by an interim focused technical review • Increase of pre-financing percentage for the second period to 85%, to cover potential cashflow issues at the end of 2005 • Table 3bis is replaced with budget table for the remaining 15 months of the project (total budget – costs accepted) Second contract amendment, Collaboration Board, 20th April 2005

Other changes • The PEB have provided their plans for the next 15 months • Included in the detailed implementation plan (Annex 1, section 5) • Changes in deliverables and milestones have been recorded (concern mainly PM24 to allow more time for final reporting) • Correction of outstanding errors and addition of appropriate clauses • CPFs submitted for any changes in institutes. • Any further CPFs should be submitted in two signed copies by April 27th 2005. Consortium approval requested • The Contract amendment must be endorsed by the consortium, hence by the collaboration board as official representatives of each partner in the project • Are there any comments/objections/questions? • Can approval be recorded officially in the minutes? • Have you all signed the presence sheet?
