Leave the public housing estates which are not very good places for lonely dinners as they are always crowded by tourists. Just look in between the apartment blocks in Hong Kong and you will obviously find big cocked food restaurants where you can get cheap food and cheap beer. Nam Shan Estate in Shek Kip Mei, Oi Man Estate in Ho Man Tin and Sun Tsui Estate in Tai Wai are known for great food they serve. Look for places that are filled with lights and plastic stools. This places house a huge community and have a really long history behind them, which makes them even more interesting places to visit.

Hike up to the Victoria Park where you can have the dazzling view of the city of Hong Kong. Only from there you can get the view of Hong Kong’s restlessness and energy. You will get a taste of it only if you take the trip by foot.

Ditch the regular Star ferry, take a fifteen-minute boat ride from Sai Wan Ho to Kwun Tong which provides a breath taking view of the harbor which you will cherish forever. Also, pay a visit to the Cattle Depot which houses most interesting artists here in Hong Kong.
