Graduated architecture of an art college of Tokyo Japan. Married Michiko (kin do ja) 1960. completion of the master’s course in Tokyo unv. The 1st prize in competition of the National Assembly building 1961. Opening a laboratory of Kim soo guen an assistant professor of Hongik unv. Walkerhill of a design and design committee 1962. completion of the doctor’s course in Tokyo unv. 1966. Founded monthly publication “Space” 1968. A director of Korea Engineering Consultants Corp. 1974. A judge of National Exhibition of Korean Architecture 1975. A head of department of formative arts in kook-min unv. A director of U.I.A(세계건축가 연맹) 1976. The president of Korean Institute of Architecture 1981. Committee of Ministry of Construction 1982. Honor of FAIA (미국건축가협회) 1985 ~ 1986. Kin swoo guen like winding narrow road in book chon han-ok village And he said “Highway is bad road as space of life” Because he wants road for human in no manner car, Also architecture intend human-friendly thing.
