  2. Friday Topic Assessment • I’m giving you a handout of 10 out of the 12 questions on tomorrow’s topic test. • Use your notes, slides and handouts to try and answer those questions tonight before tomorrow’s test. • These are all review questions.

  3. Transfer of Energy • Conduction is the process that moves thermal energyfrom one object to another when they are touching physically

  4. Convection is the transfer of thermal energy by movement of a liquid or a gas.

  5. Radiation is the transfer of thermal energy by electromagnetic waves such as visible light and infrared waves.

  6. Amusement Park Energy and Motion • Divide your poster into 4 sections. • Each section has one of the following topics: • concessions • animated rides • roller coaster • park transportation

  7. Potential Energy Chemical energy Thermal Energy between car and tracks Sound Energy Thermal Energy Kinetic Energy

  8. Amusement Park Energy • Draw the parts of your amusement park. Remember each section can have more than 1 object. • Each person must label the following items in their posters. • A. Places where the following forms of energy are found. Label the place and the form • of energy.
