The Cluden House was an interesting bar near Lake Wanaka. Nice sign and outdoor area for the Cluden House bar. The beers on tap at the Cluden House were made at a Wanaka brewery. At a place called the “Downtown Bar,” Bob took a lot of photos, as it was an interesting place.

At a place called the “Downtown Bar,” Bob took a lot of photos, as it was an interesting place.
The bar had a lot of beer and a fair amount of whisky for sale. A decent wine selection was also available.
A boy and his dad shot a couple of rounds of pool on a lazy afternoon. I wanted to jump in and play but decided to just watch and enjoy a beer.
A nice painting on the doors on a dart board case. Speight’s is a beer that is popular in New Zealand.
The HQ Bar near the lake was a very interesting place to see.
The Trout Bar had some nice photos and a pretty eating area.
A variety of beer on tap (above) and some nice posters (below).
Note the Russell ownership of the hotel (a huge poster on the wall of the bar). Bob had a dark Monteith’s beer from the large selection to the right.
