Genitive Case • A noun in the genitive usually modifies another noun. The genitive often shows possession. of the girl, the girl’s of the girls, the girls’ Puellaeof the girl Puellarum of the girls Amici of the friend amicorumof the friends
Vocative Case • The vocative case is used to address someone. Salve amice!!! Hello friend!! It is usually identical in form to the nominative, except for the vocative singular of 2nd declension nouns of the type ending in –us.
