  3. Poe in T.V. and Film • In 2009, the film Poe is scheduled for release. This is a film written and directed by Sylvester Stallone (Rocky). • There are 51 films which “re-tell” Poe’s stories. There are hundreds of t.v. shows and films that are based on Poe’s works.

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS --In groups of 4, you will create an audio or video PODCAST regarding your reactions to Poe and “The Cask of Amontillado.” --You must decide early on who will be supplying the technology (.mp3 player, IPOD, etc.) It isn’t necessary that all four of you have an IPOD or .mp3 player—decide who will be responsible for recording the information, etc. You may choose to record certain components separately, then download all sections to form one PODCAST. --You will have 2 weeks to complete your project. Presenting the PODCASTS will be our culminating project. RUBRIC If your PODCAST does not meet the following requirements, group grades will be assigned accordingly: Podcast is a minimum of 3 minutes in length. Podcast contains at least 2 interviews (with parent, teacher, or other adult) which reveal interviewees’ views on Poe. Podcast includes participation from ALL 4 group members. This should include all members’ thoughts on “The Cask of Amontillado.” A task ledger will be submitted on the due date. PODCAST is a creative, culminating presentation of Poe and his works.
