The Women Empowerment in Agriculture Index (WEAI) measures empowerment and inclusion of women in agriculture through decision-making power, resource access, income control, leadership, and time allocation. Despite high female involvement in agriculture, challenges persist, impacting productivity. This index aims to guide programs and interventions for enhanced empowerment in agriculture. Aiming to identify areas needing reinforcement, the WEAI expects to address disempowering factors and improve the status of both men and women in agriculture under PSTA4.
