  1. IGF 1 Can Heal Damaged Nerves

  2. Damage to the nerves is a common occurrence among athletes and people who have illnesses such as diabetes. Nerves when damaged tend to lose connectivity with the muscle tissue dramatically. In such conditions, it is common to notice a lack of movement among people who are affected along with wastage of muscle tissue. Some nerves are known to regenerate. However, in cases where the damage exceeds one-half of an inch the damage caused may be permanent. IGF 1 which is prevalent in deer antler velvet is known to repair nerves that are damaged. Research has revealed that this component has repaired nerve endings that had been severed up to a length of six mm.

  3. One of the primary sources of IGF 1 is today available in the form of supplements and sprays of deer antler velvet. Not enough information was available in the early days when this product was used by athletes and weightlifters for the amazing properties of endurance and recovery which it provided them. Unfortunately, these products were banned by the world anti-doping agency which believed that people involved in sporting activities used the same only as a performance-enhancing drug. The ban has since been revoked after the anti-doping body of the world got information that it was only a natural substance derived from deer antlers and not a synthetic performance enhancer.

  4. Today it would not be difficult to find athletes, weightlifters and even people with illnesses using supplements of deer antler velvet in either form. People with diabetes routinely face problems with nerve damage, which is identified as diabetic neuropathy. There is no treatment available for this condition and medical practitioners only prescribe antidepressants as a method to reduce the pain that people feel. Antidepressants are known as an addictive substance which can cause drowsiness and dryness in the mouth apart from leaving the individual dependent on the drug. Even more important is the fact that it causes no change to the damage that has occurred and only looks to deal with the pain involved.

  5. People who are facing problems with damaged nerves will do better to take supplements of deer antler velvet. This can include youngsters that could be involved in athletic activities and older people feeling the effects of diabetes. The usage of the supplements remains the same as it would have been if they had opted for prescription drugs. They would just have to take a couple of bills every day in order to bring about changes within the body and begin feeling signs of recovery within a short time. This is because people would be giving their body the IGF 1, it needs and not just making an effort to find relief from the pain. When trying to deal with nerve damage it is always better to find a medication which can deal with the core issue rather than only the external symptoms. Supplements of deer antler velvet can certainly prove useful for people in this regard.
