Homework • May not be assigned daily, but there are always assignments you should be working on. • It is essential that you keep up with Membean, reading, and long-term assignments so that you are prepared in class each day and do not fall behind. • To be successful, break longer projects and assignments into manageable parts to work on each night. • Take advantage of Study Hall and/or Catch-up Club! Late Work Policy: Depending on the assignment, daily homework may not be accepted late. All late assignments will lose credit; long term projects, assignments, and assessments will be assigned at least a 10% penalty for each day late. After one week, the assignment may no longer be accepted. When technology fails, you are still responsible for completing assignments.
Homework Absences and Make-up Work: • Have a study buddy in each class to reach out to in case of absences. • It is your responsibility to make-up homework assignments upon return to school and schedule make-up tests or quizzes with the teacher to be taken as soon as possible. • Checking homework blogs and Google Classroom is a great way to stay informed, especially for extended absences.
