  1. Golf Cart: Rules • BE CAREFUL!!! • Do not goof off • No more than two (2) people on the cart • Must be in the seats • No riding in trailer or back of cart • Treat the cart as if it has to last forever, because it does • You must have the PLU driver's identification card to drive the cart

  2. Golf Cart: Rules • Do not drive on grass • Do not drive on Red Square • Do not tamper with any controls • Do not speed around corners • Keep the cart clean • Do not throw or leave trash in the dash, back of cart, or trailer

Golf Cart: Operation • Insert key and turn clockwise to turn cart on • If key housing is loose, tighten plastic bolt around it • Lever controls forward or reverse • Cart whines when in reverse • Pull choke out when cart has not been started in a while • Push choke in after a minute or so (when it has warmed up a bit)

Golf Cart: Controls • Do not floor the accelerator • To set the parking brake, push in the top of the brake pedal so that it clicks and holds • DO NOT PUSH PARKING BRAKE TOO HARD • To release parking brake, simply put the cart in the direction you would like to go, and press on the accelerator • Do not change directions while in motion - come to a complete stop first • Check the tires

Golf Cart: Gas • Check gas level every time • Refilling • Only time to refill is between 8a – 4:30p Monday – Friday. • Pump located straight ahead as you enter the gated area • Fill with gas and write down the cart number (C40) and the number of gallons pumped and sign the gas form that is located to the upper right of the gas pump

  6. Golf Cart: Trailer • Front-load the trailer to put less pressure on the hitch • Do not lose the hitch pin • Check the tires • When backing up, turn the bottom of the steering wheel in the direction you want the trailer to go
