  6. Difference between Facts & Opinion • Opinions - Statements of someone’s belief. Ex) The sunrise was beautiful this morning. • Facts - True statements that no one can disagree with. Ex) According to highway accident reports, using a cell phone while driving is dangerous.

  7. Which fact is more reliable? My mom said driving while using a cell phone is dangerous VS According to highway accident reports, driving while using a cell phone is dangerous.

  8. Reliability of Source • Factors that increase source reliability. When you classify your information with Statisticsand Research done by Experts or Professionals, the sources become reliable. (You can use offsetting information) Ex) According to Korean National Highway Safety Commission study conducted between 2012 and 2014, drinking while talking on the cellphone leads to 4-5% increased risk of having a fatal accident.
