  2. Outlook is considered as a great application for email purposes. However, it has been rebranded as Hotmail in the recent year. They both provide remarkable features when paired up together. Hotmail as well as a huge user base throughout the world. It is loved and trusted by its users. Microsoft being innovative and pioneer of many things has revamped it and has given incredible features to its product. If you use both together you will be able to access your live Hotmail account within Outlook and also can receive, send and archive messages. To do this there is a whole procedure that you must follow. You don’t have to go anywhere for we have provided all the instructions below.

  3. Process: • Open your outlook account • Go to the menu option and select Account settings • Now click on New on the email tab • Here select Microsoft Exchange, IMAP, POP3 or HTTP • Click on the option Next

Now enter your name in the column; write it in a manner you want it to be shown at the time of outgoing mail. • In the Email address, enter your Windows Live Hotmail address. • Make sure to check manually configured server settings along with additional server types. • Select Next. • After the above step chooses Internet email. • Now again click Next; select POP3 in Account type

  5. In incoming mail server enter pop3.live.com • In Outgoing mail server enter smtp.live.com • Now enter your Live Hotmail address and password in respective fields • Navigate to more settings and then Outgoing server tab • Check use same settings as My incoming mail server • Now go to advanced tab and make sure the connection is encrypted and has been checked in incoming server • Make sure that 995 is under incoming server and 25 under outgoing
