Program • Internet information retrieval tools. • Reproductive health resources on the World Wide Web. • Practical exercices.
Information overload • Many millions of websites are available on the internet. • There are huge differences in quality, relevance and reliability. • Every day thousands of pages are added, updated, removed or have their address (‘URL’) changed.

… Reproductive health • JHPIEGO (JHU) [news, books, programs] • Population Council[publications, journals, photos] • Reproline (JHPIEGO) [multilingual, reading materials, training resources] • RHG - Reproductive Health Gateway [comprehensive portal covering >100 RH related websites] • Sexual and Reproductive Health (WHO) [documents, RHL = Reproductive Health Library]
STI, HIV, AIDS • IUSTI – International Union against Sexually Transmitted Infections • Sexually Transmitted Infections (WHO) • Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria • HIV InSite • UNAIDS / ONUSIDA
Electronic journals Voir: http://lib.itg.be/journals.htm • AIDS • International Journal of STD & AIDS • JAIDS - Journal of Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndromes • Reproductive Health (BMC) • Reproductive Health Matters • Sexually Transmitted Diseases • Sexually Transmitted Infections
