UF at Lake NonaHow it started Back in 2008, the University of Florida announced plans to locate an academic and research facility at Lake Nona Medical City. The 115,000 square-foot facility was completed in phases in Summer and Winter of 2012. This facility is located next to the Sanford-Burnham Medical Research Institute at Lake Nona. How it started • Work with Tavistock Group as they were developing the area • Kick off research and technology for their master plan • Bring Sanford-Burnham Institute to Florida • Burnham required UF presence next door as part of the agreement
Intents ... which would enable the university to have direct collaboration opportunities with Sanford-Burnham Institute’s top scientists. Here we need a picture of some type of collaboration....
