3. Once upon a time there was a little red hen who lived on a farm. “Who will help me plant the corn?” said the little red hen Early one morning she found some corn.

4. “Oh, very well then,” said the little red hen, “I’ll do it myself!” “Not I!” said the dog. “Not I!” said the cat. “Not I!” said the duck And so she did!

5. “Who will help me water the corn?” said the little red hen. “Oh, very well then,” said the little red hen, “I’ll do it myself!” And so she did! “Not I!” said the dog. “Not I!” said the cat. “Not I!” said the duck.

6. “Who will help me cut the corn?” said the little red hen. “Oh, very well then,” said the little red hen, “I’ll do it myself!” “Not I!” said the dog. “Not I!” said the cat. “Not I!” said the duck. And so she did!

7. “Who will help me carry the corn?” said the little red hen. “Oh, very well then,” said the little red hen, “I’ll do it myself!” And so she did! “Not I!” said the dog. “Not I!” said the cat. “Not I!” said the duck.

8. “Oh, very well then,” said the little red hen, “I’ll do it myself!” “Who will help me bake the bread?” said the little red hen. And so she did! “Not I!” said the dog. “Not I!” said the cat. “Not I!” said the duck.

9. “Who will help me eat the bread?” said the little red hen. “Oh no you won’t!” said the little red hen. “I will eat it all myself!” and she called her Chicks and they all Ate up the lovely Loaf of bread. “I will!” said the dog. “I will!” said the cat. “I will!” said the duck.
