Comparing and Ordering Numbers • When we compare we use terms such as: • Less than < • Greater than > • Equal to = • Comparing fractions is similar to comparing whole numbers. • 45<47 • 150>105 • When we compare fractions we look at the denominators first, if they are the same we look at the numerator.
