  2. Your presenters today DrRaheelah Ahmed Programme Tutor Raheelah is the Programme Tutor, Lead for the Public Health Foundations module and Senior Lecturer. Raheelah completed her postgraduate studies from Imperial College London (PhD) and The London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (MSc). She has international research experience in health management and organisational behaviour research in the design and evaluation of public health interventions. Her areas of interest are unhealthy weight/obesity, maternal health and Health Care Associated Infections. Raheelah holds an honorary position at the Faculty of Medicine, Imperial College, London and is Associate Editor of the international peer reviewed journal Public Health (Elsevier).

Your presenters today Dr Zoe Aslanpour Head of Public Health Practice Zoe is the head of public health practice at the department of Pharmacy overseeing inclusion of public health learning and teaching in under and postgraduate programmes within the department. She also practices as a consultant in public health in the National Health Services responsible for mental health, medicine management and prioritisation agenda. Zoe is a Fellow of Faculty of Public Health and a qualified pharmacist registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council of UK. Her research areas of interest include health services evaluation, patient safety, medicine management, pharmaceutical public health, mental public health and role of primary care practitioners in delivery of public health agenda.

Your presenters today Dr Richard Pinder Module Lead for the Public Health Research and Epidemiology Richard is a visiting lecturer at the University of Hertfordshire and is a public health physician coming from a background in hospital medicine. He trained at Guy's, King's and St Thomas' School of Medicine, and completed his MPH at Imperial College London. He continues to hold teaching and research roles at both institutions, with interests in military health and the evaluation of health care. Richard also works in public health roles in a range of organisationsincluding the National Health Service, Public Health England and the Department of Health.

Rewarding careers • This programme is designed for students who wish to develop their careers in the field of public health practice, management or research, as well as practitioners and managers already in the field, who wish to enhance their career development. • The online MPH course is tailored implicitly towards the needs of diverse health professionals including doctors, pharmacists, nurses, and allied health, social care and environmental health professionals, as well as the wider public health workforce in the non-governmental sector. • The programme supports managerial, policy and practitioner career pathways.

  20. Entry Requirements A 2.2 honours degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent (e.g. honours degree from the UK) or equivalent. Or relevant experience in the area public health may be considered in place of a degree. GCSE (or equivalent) in Mathematics with minimum grade C. Applicants who do not wholly meet these requirements, but who are considered to have the professional experience, motivation or potential to succeed at the programme, may also be accepted.
