Would anything have made the activities better? (If you didn’t go to Cobnor, you need to write about a day trip or holiday you have been on)
Jot down your answers to these questions: • What was the best bit about the day? • What was the worst bit? • What was the funniest bit? • What was boring? • What did you learn about each other? • What did you learn about yourself?
How will you structure your work? You could write about the day in the order that it happened. So you would write: • A paragraph about the journey • A paragraph about what you did in the morning • A paragraph about the afternoon activities • A paragraph about the journey home • A paragraph about your overall thoughts on the day

Level 6 • You are able to catch the reader’s attention throughout • You use an appropriate style • You make effective links between paragraphs • You use a variety of linking devices in each paragraph. • You use a variety of sentences and verbs for effect. • You use a full range of punctuation marks accurately ( eg. Colons and semi colons) • You choose words to create particular effects • Your spelling is accurate, except for unusual words.
