Meditation – Psalm 122 I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go to the house of the Lord!” Our feet are standing within your gates, O Jerusalem. Jerusalem—built as a city that is bound firmly together. To it the tribes go up, the tribes of the Lord, as was decreed for Israel, to give thanks to the name of the Lord.
For there the thrones for judgment were set up, the thrones of the house of David. • Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: • “May they prosper who love you. • Peace be within your walls, • and security within your towers.” • For the sake of my relatives and friends • I will say, “Peace be within you.” • For the sake of the house of the Lord • our God, I will seek your good.
Musical Prelude Bringing in the Light of Christ
Call to Worship One: By entering the Sanctuary this morning, we have shown we believe in God. Many: Yes! We believe in God and have come to worship God. One: Here the invitation of the prophet Isiah: Many: Come, Let us go up to God’s holy mountain and learn to walk in God’s ways.
OPENING PRAYER O Lord, the days grow short and the songs we hear remind us of how You love us and call us Your children. Settle in our hearts, that we might hear and heed You. Fill us so with Your compassion and hope that everywhere we go it may overflow and shine a light into all the dark places of the world. Amen.

Scripture Reading - Isaiah 2:1-5 The word that Isaiah son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem. In days to come the mountain of the Lord’s house shall be established as the highest of the mountains, and shall be raised above the hills; all the nations shall stream to it. Many peoples shall come and say, “Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; that he may teach us his ways and that we may walk in his paths.”
For out of Zion shall go forth instruction, • and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. • He shall judge between the nations, • and shall arbitrate for many peoples; • they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks; • nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more. • O house of Jacob, come, • let us walk in the light of the Lord!

I Want to Walk as a Child of the Light Picture: handofgod.com
I want to walk as a child of the light, I want to follow Jesus. God set the stars to give light to the world. The star of my life is Jesus.
In Him there is no darkness at all. The night and the day are both alike. The Lamb is the light of the city of God, Shine in my heart, Lord Jesus.
I want to see The brightness of God. I want to look at Jesus. Clear Sun of Righteousness, shine on my path, and show me the way to the Father.
In Him there is no darkness at all. The night and the day are both alike. The Lamb is the light of the city of God, Shine in my heart, Lord Jesus.
I’m looking for the coming of Christ. I want to be with Jesus. When we have run with patience the race, we shall know the joy of Jesus.
In Him there is no darkness at all. The night and the day are both alike. The Lamb is the light of the city of God, Shine in my heart, Lord Jesus.
