Lent and Advent all-school programs Mass, Reconciliation, Adoration, prayer groups, training younger students Retreats—9, 10, 12 Do the Work—set up crew for mass/Reconciliation, organizers, advertisers, planners, activity designers, liaisons to speakers/priests/service sites LEAD through direct interactions Morning prayer and video prayer Faith-sharing and Small group discussion leaders Lead prayer—8:00 am, Video Prayer, adoration, on retreat, at meetings Create novel and relevant service and faith opportunities
Senior Advisor Program Assigned to a Freshman Advisory Program Connection to school Learning Community Faith Formation Attend all sessions of Advisory Training provided with ongoing meetings
Expectations for Consideration Peer Ministers • Commitment to the PATH • Commitment to Faith • 3.0 Grade Point Avg. • 75+ hours of service as of May 31. • No excessive tardies/absences • Commitment to Training • Parent Support Senior Advisors • Outgoing/willing to share • Knowledge of school • Active participant • Good academics • Christian Role Model • Academic Role Model • Training Commitment
What to Expect Peer Ministers • Your 1st Priority at SDHS • Kickoff Mtg/BBQ: 8/9 • Senior Retreat: 8/27-28 • Contact Time Room • 7:30 arrival on Mass days • Responsibilities during Study Hall/Sr. Privilege • AMAZING GROWTH!! Senior Advisors • Training in early August • Fresh. Orient. 8/13 & 14 • Monday Contact Mtgs • Assigned to teacher • 1 Girl / 1 Boy • 12-14 Freshmen • Listening, sharing • Contact Time Room
