Tend: the garden Fresh flowers from the garden look delightful when arranged in a bucket or pitcher on the front step of your home. The added benefit of leaving the flowers outside is that they last that much longer. Cut daffodils, for instance, will last for over a month outside. It is quite amazing. In the autumn, place a bucket full of branches, with the leaves beginning to show their colors, on your doorstep instead.
