Today's ideas • How education has began using research to understand the learner • How we can use our understanding of our discipline not to "hide" or make opaque how we think and work, but to make our own thinking, working, learning processes and skills transparent to our students • Learn how to create a web based assignment using these ideas and a tool aptly titled "dreamweaver" • Examine classroom research and tools for doing such research
Your assignment • Revise an assignment that you might have used in your class previous to Bush • 1. Re-write the instructions to make it more transparent • 2. Have the student's involved in the research • 3. Make the accountability rubric clear • 4. Put the assignment on a web page using Dreamweaver • use one image • use one table • use at least one link • publish the assignment
