Where can I go ? USA University of Connecticut School of Law, Hartford, Connecticut
What do I Study? • Four modules per semester • All modules must be approved • Write a ‘log’ feeding back about each module • Comparative dissertation in your final year • Makes up 1/7th of your degree award
How much will it cost ? • 50% Tuition fees payable to Exeter • NO TUITION FEES to host institution • Eligible for student loan • Return air fare • Travel and Health insurance • Visa • Housing, food and living expenses • Spending money !
What do I need to do now ? • You must achieve 60% average in order to apply • Research the institutions available • Look at the courses available • Talk to your family/friends
How do I apply ? • Submit completed application form to the College Office by Monday 5 November • Applicants will be shortlisted and interviews conducted in late November • Successful applicants will be allocated places by the School of Law • Successful applicants should send two academic references to Tim Rushforth by 1 February 2013
What happens next ? • Application form for host institution issued in February • Application form to be completed by 1 March • Pre-departure Meeting held in May • Acceptance received from host institution • GO AWAY !
