  2. Poison Safety Avoid poisonous chemicals to skin and do not inhale the vapors. Wash hands thoroughly when done.

  3. Electrical Safety • Never use electrical equipment around water. • Never touch electrical equipment with bare hands. • Cords are untangled and unplug when done.

  4. Fire Safety • Before working with flames, tie loose hair and clothing back.

  5. Hand & Glassware Safety • Handle breakable glass with care. • Do not touch broken glassware. • Direct sharp objects away from yourself and others.

  6. General Safety • When you see this symbols follow the instructions provided.

  7. Eye Safety • Always wear safety goggles to protect your eyes when conducting a lab using chemicals, glassware, fire or glassware.
