  3. VISION OF THE STATE • Area under Well & Tube well : 17.20 Lakh Ha. • So far covered under Micro Irrigation : 4.00 Lakh Ha. • Vision to cover in 2025 : 13.20 Lakh Ha.

  6. 1.Micro Irrigation Management Information System (MIMIS Portal) • Farmer Friendly Website • Ensuring Transparency • All Process through Online • Who can make entry? • Farmers • Departments • Micro irrigation Firms • Farmers Produce Groups (FPG)

PROCESS FLOW Farmer Registration Block Level Approval Pre-Inspection by Agri / Horticulture Officials & approval upload Quotation preparation by Company & uploaded on web-site Auto generation of Work Order to the MI Firm Material Supply is monitored through website MI installation completion uploading by MI Firm Farmers Satisfaction letter upload Automatic 60% Fund release by Head Quarters on the basis of Certification Joint Verification by Agri Engineering Department and Agri, Horticulture Officials 40% Fund release by District Officials

  8. 2. Micro Irrigation Subsidy by State • Over and above GoI subsidy + Additional State Subsidy • 100% for Small/Marginal Farmers and 75% for Other Farmers. • GST on MI absorbed by the State Government. • Integrating MI Subsidy with PMKSY other intervention

  9. MICRO IRRIGATION – SPECIAL FOCUS 1. Special focus on water guzzling crops: • Vision - 100% MI Coverage in Sugarcane and Banana 2. Public / Private Sector Sugar Mills to Promote Micro Irrigation

  10. VILLAGE WISE DATABASE OF FARMERS • Database of potential farmers prepared who have to install Micro Irrigation • Such Database is monitored online and progress monitored online

  14. Rural Employment: Skill Training to rural youth on MI installation Efforts to bring Paddy under MI First of its kind Paddy crop has been brought under Micro Irrigation

  15. 4. Monitoring State Level : By APC with HODs and MI Firms – (Fortnightly) HODs with District Officials through Video Conferencing – (Weekly). 2. District Level: District Collectors review the scheme weekly. 3. Online : At each level of implementation by All Stake Holders.

  16. 5. PMKSY – Other Intervention: Linked with Micro Irrigation Assistance extended • Sinking Bore wells (Rs.25,000) • Ground water storage tanks (Rs.40,000) • Conveyance pipes (Rs.10,000) • Diesel engine / Electric pump (Rs.15,000)

  17. 6.Fund Release Online • First Release 60 % within 2 days from the date of uploading at State Level • Second Release 40 % after the completion of measurement from District Level

  19. SOME MODIFICATIONS REQUESTED IN GUIDELINES • To provide additional sand filters for Sugarcane • 75 mm pipes (now 63 mm) for Sprinklers below 1 Ha. • Extending subsidy for Sprinkler below 1 Ac. • To include Butterfly type sprinklers – for Hilly regions
