Entrepreneurship Home for Young People The philosophy and experience of the „Entrepreneurship Home for Young People” project derived from Intotalo Entrepreneurship Training Centre in Kajaani, Finland. www.intotalo.fi During the current project we tested the vitality of the idea in the Estonian conditions and adapted the model of such kind of youth entrepreneurship training centre in Estonia.
Entrepreneurship Home for Young People • Duration: 01.08.2007 – 31.07.2008. • Target group:unemployed 16-24 years old people, who have finished their studies, but have not yet found the job.
Entrepreneurship Home for Young People Objectives: The main objective of the project is to raise the ability and readiness to work among the target group and to support their faster employment through entrepreneurship training and practice.
Principles • Attention to designing entrepreneurial personality • Inter- and multydisciplinarity • Cooperation • Networking • Coherence
Principles (1) • Individual contract with the participant Development of the entrepreneur personality needs an individual approach. Therefore each participant will make a personal deal fixed in the learning contract, where he or she states individual objectives for personal development and entrepreneurship.
Principles (2) 2) Open learning environment Entrepreneurship Training Centre is learning environment supports acquiring the knowledge and skills needed for the project work and entrepreneurship. It's an open, well-equipped office space like real working place for entrepreneurs, where young people can come and developtheir business ides. The main training methods in the centre are learning by doing and networking with entrepreneurs.
Principles (3) 3) Training and Mentors Training consists of two main parts: Qualifications of entrepreneur and project management skills and will create their own business plans and in the implementation phase the mentors will be attracted to judge the ideas and give advice to young entrepreneurs.

Training materials • Entrepreneurship training materials: entrepreneurship and starting with entrepreneurity, innovation, intellectual property, business plan textbook etc. • Experiences from work with iPlanner – business planning software online, and training material. We do not have special training material for entrepreneurial training young people in creative fields jet.
