  1. LGBT History Month 2009 The Ministry of Justice is committed to delivering a more effective, transparent and responsive justice system for victims and the public. Research commissioned by Stonewall (Serves You Right) shows that the LGBT community is mistrustful of the system. This event looks at LGBT life in a hostile past, considers LGBT life in other parts of the world and discusses the lasting damage inflicted by the infamous Section 28. Delegates will also have a chance to think how you & your colleagues can contribute to the Ministry’s efforts to combat the LGBT community’s negative views of the justice system.
