Friends of Lunken Mission Statement: • Create an airport authority-not City Council • Have city finalize the Part 150 noise study • Remove current restraints • Remove weight restrictions • Provide corporate accommodations
Noise • Newer aircraft are quieter than the older aircraft • Fewer flights at Lunken • Recent studies proved noise around Lunken is smaller and shrinking • Pilots are committed to minimize noise impact for surrounding neighborhoods
Expansion Weight limit: From 70,000 to 100,000 lbs. Lengthen Runway: To 6,100 to 7,000 feet Construction: complete new T-hanger project Allow larger aircraft
